About

Multiple Shapes is a contemporary stained glass project created and made by JFH, an Argentinian artist based in East London.

Multiple Shapes was born out of the idea of constant change and evolution. Something that can adopt multiple shapes like glass itself, even transforming its form, into different states and materials.

Evolution is also reflected by the artist allowing herself to break with the conservative and structured stained glass technique, playing with the juxtapositions of separate pieces of glass, to free its form of expression.

As glass depends on light, and even light changes in almost any setting during the day, the pieces are constantly transforming as well.

JFH gets most of her inspiration from glass itself, its different textures, patterns, colours and opacity. Hearing what they want to say when all together, makes every piece totally unique.
